Welcome to the Mind, Language, and Culture (MILC) lab. Lead by Dr Mele Taumoepeau our lab is interested in questions concerning how children and young people learn about their social worlds through their interactions with significant members of their social and cultural groups.  We have a particular interest in children's understanding of the minds of others, and the factors that contribute to the development of this understanding.  We use a variety of research methodologies to answer these questions, and are especially interested in building our understanding of Pacific research methods and understandings.
